APPARATUS FOR MEASURING HEIGHT OF LNG SHIP AND MEASURING METHOD BY USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring height of an LNG ship and a measuring method by using the same are provided to conveniently set a horizontal state of an insulation box by measuring height of a coupler base after installing the coupling base. CONSTITUTION: A coupler base height measuring apparatus includes a laser receiver and a display section. A cylindrical supporting member(40) is vertically attached to a lowest surface of the body(10). A measuring tool is installed at an upper portion of the body(10). A screw is movably installed at a center of the body(10). A laser receiving section(50) receives laser beam and outputs a receiving signal after receiving laser signal. A control section(30) measures height of the laser receiving section(50) and generates a control signal by receiving the signal generated from the laser receiving section(50). A stepping motor(20) is provided to control an up/down movement of the laser receiving section(50).
