PURPOSE: A defogging system for a car window is provided to prevent a car window from steaming up and to secure a visual field of a driver and passengers. CONSTITUTION: A defogging system for a car window has a sensing unit(5) including an interior humidity sensor(51) and an interior temperature sensor(52) installed inside the vehicle, and an exterior temperature sensor(53) installed outside the vehicle; a control unit(6) comparing the value sensed by the sensing unit and then operating a heater-driving unit(7) or an air conditioner-driving unit(8) according to the value; and a blowing unit(9) operated together with one of the heater-driving unit or the air conditioner-driving unit operated in accordance with instructions of the control unit. The air conditioner-driving unit and the blowing unit are operated, when the interior humidity of the vehicle is over 70% and the interior temperature is over about 15 degrees. The heater-driving unit and the blowing unit are operated, when the interior humidity is over 75%, the interior temperature is over about 15 degrees, and the difference of the interior temperature and the exterior temperature is below 3 deg.C.
