DEVICE OF FORMING ADAPTIVE ANTENNA ARRAY BEAM PATTERN AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A device of forming an adaptive antenna array beam pattern is provided to use an optimal decision function while adapting adaptive antenna array weighted coefficients, thereby improving interference signal removing performance and a system capacity. CONSTITUTION: Each of path signal processors(12.1-12.L) comprises N branches composed of complex multipliers(2.1-2.n) and pilot signal correlation response generators(11.1-11.N), a reference signal generator(1), and a weight vector shaper(5). Each of the pilot signal correlation response generators(11.1-11.N) is composed of a combined with reset feature(8), a tapped delay line(9), and a coupler(10). The first input of the complex multipliers(2.1-2.N) is one of N signal inputs, and the second input thereof is a reference signal, and is connected to an output of the reference signal generator(1). An input of the reference signal generator(1) enables a synchronous operation. The first input of the combiner with reset feature(8) is an input of the pilot signal correlation response generators(11.1-11.N), and is connected to an output of the complex multipliers(2.1-2.N). The second input of the combiner with reset feature(8) is an input of a reset signal, and is connected to an output of a controller(7). An output of the coupler(10) is an output of complex correlation responses, and is an output of the response generators(11.1-11.N). Outputs of the generators(11.1-11.N) are connected to N inputs of the vector shaper(5). An output of the shaper(5) is an output of a current vector.
