PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for fermenting night soil of cattle are provided to reduce the contamination of environment via the effective processing of the night soil, to produce high quality compost, and to effectively utilize heat generated in the fermentation of the night soil for the purpose of heating of a house and so on. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for fermenting night soil of cattle is comprised of a transfer screw(10) formed in the lower part, a pipe, drilled with a plurality of holes so as to input air through a blower in the bottom part and the side part, a heat transfer collection pipe extending forward and backward formed in a space, a scraper operated by a motor and a limit switch in the upper side, a plurality of night soil nozzle pipes over the scraper, and a sawdust transfer conveyor(2) for transferring sawdust to a V-shaped fermentation vessel(1).
