PURPOSE: An apparatus for fixing a resonator in a lighting system using microwaves is provided to exchange easily the resonator or a lamp by using a fixing portion including the first and the second tightening rings. CONSTITUTION: A lighting system includes a casing, a magnetron, a resonator, and a lamp. The magnetron is used for generating microwaves. The resonator is connected with the magnetron in order to receive the light generated from the lamp and intercept the microwaves. The lamp is installed in the inside of the resonator. An encapsulation material of the lamp is excited and illuminated by the microwaves generated from the magnetron. A resonator fixing portion includes the first tightening ring(30) and the second tightening ring(40). The first tightening ring has a male screw portion(31). The second tightening ring has a female screw portion(41).
