PURPOSE: Provided is a crusher for metal chips which crushes coil-shaped metal chips into particle size with reducing volume remarkably so that it increases convenience in storage and transportation. CONSTITUTION: The crusher for the metal chips comprises the parts of: a main body(2) which consists of a chip projection hole(9), a chip release hole(10), plural knives(6) and a polygonal rotor(13), in which the rotation axis of the rotor is connected to the rotation axis of a motor(1) by a pulley wheel(4) and a belt(5); the motor which drives the main body; and a support frame(11) which supports the main body and the motor.
