PURPOSE: A system for checking remotely a meter using by using wire/wireless bidirectional data communication is provided to improve the reliability of checked data by using a mixed method of a wireless method and a wire method. CONSTITUTION: A remote check system detects necessary states such as gas, electricity, water service, fire, crime prevention, security, and other states from an inspection portion(100) by using sensors. The remote check system transmits the data to a particular device of a relay portion(200) by using a communication method of a bidirectional wire module(130) or a bidirectional wireless module(120). The particular device of the relay portion stores the data and converts the stored data to protocols of a wire modem(240) or a wireless modem(230). The protocols are transmitted to particular devices(410,420,430) of a control portion(400) using a wire network(340) and a wireless network(330) as a communication medium.
