PURPOSE: A system and a method for adjusting position of a screen on an operation display in a finance automation device are provided to sense a height of a customer who wants to operate a finance automation device, and to adjust a position of a screen on an operation display in a finance automation device so that it enables the customer to conveniently push menu selection buttons or numbers. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a proximity sensor(110), a height sensor(120), a microcomputer(130), and a monitoring camera(160). The proximity sensor(110) senses a customer positioned within a range of a set distance, e.g. 30 cm. In a case that the proximity sensor(110) senses a customer approaching a finance automation device, the height sensor(120) senses the height of the customer. The microcomputer(130) controls the drive of the sensors(110, 120), receives the sensed signals, calculates the height of the customer, and adjusts a position of a screen of an operation display(150) by controlling an image display module(140) according to the calculated height. The monitoring camera takes an image of the customer by a control of the microcomputer(130) from the time when the proximity sensor(110) is driven or the customer starts to make a financial transaction via the finance automation device.
