PURPOSE: A bio-degradable resin composition is provided to obtain a film which has improved mechanical properties such as tear and tensile strengths and can be degraded completely in the natural state. CONSTITUTION: The bio-degradable resin composition comprises 100 parts by weight of one or more bio-degradable polyester resins selected from aliphatic polyester resins and aliphatic/aromatic polyester resins and 0.01 to 50 parts by weight of polylactic acid. The composition is produced by the method comprising the steps of: mixing polylactic acid with the aliphatic polyester or aliphatic/aromatic polyester in the weight ratio of 1:99 to 30:70 to obtain a matrix resin; and dry blending the aliphatic polyester or aliphatic/aromatic polyester into the matrix resin in the weight ratio of 1:99 to 50:50 to obtain the bio-degradable resin composition. |
