DEVICE FOR REMOVING MOLTEN RESIN LAYER FROM SURFACE OF COATER ROLL FOR COATING ORGANIC RESIN IN STEEL PLATE

PURPOSE: A molten resin layer eliminating apparatus from the surface of a coater roller for covering a steel sheet with organic resin is provided to prevent failure of coating and lowering of quality by removing the molten resin layer from the surface of the coater roll efficiently. CONSTITUTION: A molten resin layer removing system of a coater roll(10) comprises a frame part(20) having a main frame(22) moving up and down on the coater roll and a moving frame(24) moving longitudinally to the main frame; a roll surface washing unit(40) having a removing member(44) connected to the lower part of a rotating body(42) for eliminating the molten resin layer from the surface of the coater roll, and a washing fluid supply unit(46) installed in the center of the rotating body to inject washing fluid to the roll surface; and a roll surface cleaning unit(70) having a rotating frame turning to the washing unit and plural cleaning members(74) installed longitudinally to the frame to clean the surface of the roll with contacting. Failure of coating for steel sheets is prevented by eliminating molten resin from the surface of the coater roll automatically.
