PURPOSE: A cool air supplying device of a refrigerator is provided to uniformly distribute the temperature for the inside of a refrigerating compartment by efficiently controlling the amount of cool air discharged from discharge ports formed at the inner rear side, left, and right of the refrigerating compartment. CONSTITUTION: A cool air supplying device of a refrigerator comprises a supplying passage(31) supplying cool air from a freezer compartment to a refrigerating compartment, a rear branch passage(30) diverged form the supplying passage and connected to a rear discharge port of the refrigerating compartment, a side branch passage(35) branched off from the supplying passage and coupled to left and right discharge ports of the refrigerating compartment, a left branch passage(36) diverged from the side branch passage and linked to the left discharge port of the refrigerating compartment, a right branch passage(37) diverged from the side branch passage and connected to the right discharge port, an opening and shutting device(40) installed to a branch point of the supplying passage, the rear branch passage, and the side branch passage to selectively open and shut the rear and side branch passages, and a control unit controlling the opening and shutting of the opening and shutting device. The control unit normally keeps the rear branch passage opening, when the control unit recognizes the need for the intensive cooling of a door of the refrigerating compartment, the control unit closes the rear branch passage and opens the side branch passage for a definite time.
