PURPOSE: An oil leakage preventing structure is provided to prevent waste of engine oil and environmental contamination by preventing oil and gas from being leaked through the cam shaft support unit of the cylinder head. CONSTITUTION: A cam shaft support structure comprises a through hole(7) formed at the front and rear surface of a cylinder head(3) supporting a cam shaft(1); and a packing(6) mounted at an end of the cam shaft so as to prevent leakage of oil and gas. A valve(8) is mounted in the through hole in such a manner that the valve prevents the blow-by gas and oil from being leaked to the packing by shutting the through hole when the pressure of the blow-by gas rises, and permits the blow-by gas and oil which are leaked to the packing through the gap formed between a journal portion(2) and a support portion(4) to flow into the cylinder head cover by opening the through hole when the pressure of the blow-by gas is lowered.
