WEIGHT DEVICE OF BOOM BELT CONVEYOR IN RECLAIMER TO PREVENT SKEW

PURPOSE: A weight device of a boom belt conveyor is provided to uniformly maintain the tension of a belt by vertically pulling the belt though the inclination of a boom is changed and to previously prevent the damage of the belt by preventing the slip or the twisting of the belt having the irregular tension. CONSTITUTION: A square case(40) is vertically maintained when a boom(10) is inclined by connecting with the boom through a pin(42). A moving bar(50) contains guide rolls(52) in both ends and a first bearing block therebetween. The guide rolls are moved upward and downward inside the square case. The first bearing block is installed in a shaft portion(24a) of a weight pulley(24) to roll a belt(22). A weight(60) is connected with the lower part of a supporting bar. The supporting bar is fixed in the lower part of a second bearing block(62) in a pulley shaft(24a). Thereby, the weight controls the tension of the belt uniformly though the inclination of the boom is changed.
