<p>The invention concerns an apparatus (1) comprising a device designed to encode an original message by means of a digital key whereof the apparatus manufacturer is the owner. The electronic equipment (3), to authenticate that a received message, is a message coming from the apparatus (1) authorized to certify said message, comprises a device designed to decode said received message with the digital key whereof the manufacturer of the apparatus (1) is the owner. The method comprises: a first step whereby an encoded message is generated by means of the apparatus which encodes an original message by means of a digital key whereof the manufacturer of the apparatus is the owner by combining each bit of the key with a bit of the original message, by a nonequivalence operation; a second step whereby the encoded message is transmitted to the addressee electronic equipment; a third step whereby the encoded message is decoded with said digital key.</p> |
