The invention relates to an assembly device (8) for fitting a fluid transfer pipe (1) and its fastening device (4) in an opening (14) in the wall of a fuel tank. The fluid transfer pipe body (2) comprises a sleeve (3), serving to seal the gap between the fluid transfer pipe and the opening (14) and the portion of the sleeve remaining within the fuel tank comprises a counter-part member (10) of the clamping device. The assembly device (8) is elongated and flexible and is articulated in the end of the portion (2A) of the fluid transfer pipe body remaining outside the fuel tank. The invention also relates to the method for fastening the fluid transfer pipe (1) in an opening (14) in the wall (13) of a fuel tank by means of a fastening device (4). The assembly device (8) is used in the method. |
