<p>A non-aqueous primary battery reduced in size and weight, increased in discharge capacity and lowered in operating voltage. A primary battery comprising an anode active matter mainly consisting of nickel oxyhydroxide and a cathode active matter consisting of light metal that are disposed between an anode terminal and a cathode terminal and partitioned by a separator, and a non-aqueous electrolyte, wherein an anode mixture constituting the anode active matter contains at least a conductive agent and a binder, 5-30 wt.% of the conductive agent being contained per a total weight of the anode mixture, 1-10 wt.% of the binder being contained per a total weight of the anode mixture, whereby a non-aqueous primary battery is obtained that is large in discharge capacity, low in operating voltage, shortened in predischarging time.</p> |
