<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which demonstrates excellent cleaning performance by which blade turn-over, blade squeaking and defective cleaning are prevented from an initial stage and also filming caused with time is prevented, and which complies with the characteristic of toner. SOLUTION: In this image forming apparatus, the toner 7 incorporates at least a binding resin, a releasing agent and a colorant, and also the coefficient of surface friction at the time of forming the toner into a plate-like shape is set as >=0.25, and in a cleaning device, a blade supporting member 35a fixed at a casing that is made in parallel with the surface of a photoreceptor drum 1 as a latent image carrier, and goes straight in the moving direction of the surface of the photoreceptor drum 1 and supports the photoreceptor drum 1 has the free end length of a specified amount, and a cleaning blade 35 is attached in a counter direction to the surface of the photoreceptor drum 1 so as to perform the cleaning of the surface of the photoreceptor drum 1, and the abutting pressure of the cleaning blade 35 is set as 20-40 g/cm.</p> |
