PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide highly sensitive latex particles suitable for immunological diagnostics material. SOLUTION: A graft chain having a functional group is bonded onto the latex particle surface by graft polymerization, or the functional group of the bonded graft chain is converted into another functional group and then an antibody or an antigen is sensitized to the functional group in the graft chain bonded onto the latex particle surface, to thereby improve sensitivity.
