PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish technique for constructing a tide prevention dam of near future type or its technique element. SOLUTION: This tide prevention dam is constituted by a face body 1 extending in the horizontal direction and support bodies 2 on both sides for pulling and supporting both side sections of the face body 1 receiving a tensile force in the horizontal direction based on a water pressure of a difference of tide level in the horizontal direction to form a dam damming up sea water flowing into a land side or a river side from a sea side. The face body 1 is slightly or greatly extended in the horizontal direction by receiving a water pressure and, in particular, is elastically developed. Since it is naturally deformed by corresponding to a difference in water pressure, a deformation force is uniformly dispersed one-dimensionally to reduce its weight so that, in particular, the technique for constructing the tide prevention dam of near future type can be established.
