PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antistat excellent in antistatic performances and persistency thereof without detriment to transparency of a resin, and an antistatic resin composition comprising the antistat and a resin. SOLUTION: The antistat has a structure represented by general formula (1) (wherein R<1> and R<2> are the same or different and are each a hydrocarbyl group; R<3> is a hydrocarbyl group or a urethane bond-bearing hydrocarbyl group; (n) is a number of at least 2; (1) is a number of 0 or at least 1; and (m) is a number of at least 1).
