BEARING AND COMPOSITE STRUCTURE

A bearing (1), a composite structure, an implant (13) and a method for production of a bearing with a microscopically rough surface (4) are disclosed. According to the invention, an improvement in bearing properties, minimising particle build-up and reduction in friction and a universally-applicable composite structure can be achieved, whereby the surface (9) of the bearing or the composite structure is roughened by etching and optionally provided with a coating preferably made from plastic.
