PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-light piezoelectric inverter without generating flicker and beat. SOLUTION: For the multi-light piezoelectric inverter comprising a tube current comparing circuit having a driving circuit periodically reversing a voltage applied to an input electrode of a plurality of piezoelectric transformers, connecting the output of the piezoelectric transformers to cold cathode tubes, and detecting and comparing the tube current of the cold cathode tubes; and a frequency sweeping oscillator controlling the driving frequency of the driving circuit depending on the output of the tube current comparing circuit. The length of the piezoelectric transformer (le1, le2) are assorted so as to make the difference of the maximum value and the minimum value of the resonance frequency larger than 100 Hz. |
