PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a one-pack coating material which has good adherence to various metals including stainless steel, gives good corrosion resistance to a metal and particularly gives good corrosion resistance to different metals in contact with each other. SOLUTION: The coating material composition for metals contains an organic solvent solution of a hydroxylated vinyl polymer the solid matter of which has an acid value of 30 or higher, and a blocked polyisocyanate resin.
