The invention relates to imidazo[1,2-a] pyridine alkoxyalkylcarbamate derivatives having a structure corresponding to the general formula I, wherein R1 represents C1-C4 alkyl, R2 represents C1-C4 alkyl, R3 represents C1-C4 alkoxy-C2-C4 alkoxy, R4 represents C1-C4 alkyl or hydroxymethyl, A represents oxygen or NH, as well as the salts thereof, used for preventing or treating gastrointestinal diseases, to processes for preparing the same, and to a pharmaceutical composition cotaining the same.
