The invention relates to a microwave installation for hyperthermic medical treatment, meant for applying certain medical procedures, such as the procedures for treating benign or malign tumours in living organisms. According to the invention, the installation comprises a polyhedral generator-applicator (1) having several surfaces (g and h) with various angles, some of them being located in front of the magnetron, while others are arranged on the direction of the axis thereof, said generator-applicator ending by some interchangeable filters (8) provided with some slots (a, b, c and d) having well-defined shape, the magnetron being supplied from a source (2) controlled by a control unit, depending on the temperature measured by some temperature detectors (11) placed on the epidermis or into the tissue subjected to the treatment.
