PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong the life of a semiconductor storage device as much as an amount that rewriting is not performed by avoiding data loss under a high temperature environment without performing rewriting. SOLUTION: A temperature sensor 10 as a temperature detecting means detects the operating temperature of an EEPROM 9 as a semiconductor storage device, and a CPU 3 and a switch 11 as a deactivating means disconnect the power source of the EEPROM 9 for deactivation when a detected temperature exceeds a prescribed temperature. A RAM 4 as an alternative storing means stores data in place of the EEPROM 9 if the data are about to be written to the EEPROM 9 while the EEPROM 9 is deactivated, and the CPU 3 that also operates as a writing means writes the data to the EEPROM 9 if the data are stored in the RAM 4 when the after the deactivation of the EEPROM 9 is released. |
