PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a realistic reverberation sound and to output a reverberation sound having no sense of incongruity. SOLUTION: The size of initial energy of direct sound of sound field space is obtained for every frequency band (Steps S10 and S11). A reverberation sound is obtained from the size of the initial energy of direct sound for every frequency band, reverberation time of the sound field space and a reverberation sound attenuation equation. During the above operations, the reverberation time is obtained for every frequency band, reverberation sound for every frequency band is obtained from the reverberation sound attenuation equation and reverberation sound for every frequency band is synthesized and outputted. Reverberation sound corresponding to the frequency characteristics of the sound field is generated after obtaining reverberation sound for every frequency band. |
