<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of battery running-down during parking by suppressing the power consumption for transmitter and receiver for automatic collation of an electronic key in an smart entry system for motor vehicle. SOLUTION: During the parking of the motor vehicle, a peripheral detection sensor is started (110), an approach of things (or person) to the vicinity of the vehicle is monitored, when a person approaching to the vehicle is sensed (120-YES), an electronic key possessed by the user is started and a transmitter- receiver for obtaining ID code is started (130). Also, when the ID code of the electronic key for the motor vehicle is obtained after starting the transmitter- receiver after starting the transmitter-receiver (140-YES), the system is shifted to unlock-standby state (210) for releasing the door lock by the manual operation of the user's door switch, and when the ID code cannot be obtained (140-NO), an invasion sensor is started (150) and an illegal invasion of a robber or the like into vehicle is monitored. As a result, the power consumed in the transmitter-receiver and the invasion sensor during the parking of the vehicle can be suppressed and the battery running-down can be prevented.</p> |
