<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake part structure for a motorcycle, achieving simplified construction, lighter weight, reduced costs and less man-hours for assembly by reducing the number of parts. SOLUTION: The motor cycle having a rear wheel 9 rotatably and axially supported at the rear end of a rear arm 12 with a front end pivotally mounted on a body in a up-and-down rocking manner, is provided with a drum brake 14 consisting of a brake drum 9a integrally formed on a hub of the rear wheel 9, a brake shoe 15 arranged inside the brake drum 9a, and a shoe plate for supporting an anchor pin 17 turnably and axially supporting the brake shoe 15 and a cam shaft 19 adapted to largely open the brake shoe 15. The shoe plate of the drum brake 14 and the rear arm 12 are integrated with each other, and the anchor pin 17 and the cam shaft 19 are provided on the rear arm 12. Since such a configuration is adopted that the shoe plate is eliminated and the rear arm 12 covers its function, the number of parts can be reduced and simplified construction, lighter weight and reduced cost can be achieved.</p> |
