<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a parapet coping and a handrail, which allows rigid fixture of the parapet coping and a support mounting bracket to a base anchor only by forced fitting the parapet coping and the bracket in a vertically downward direction, and facilitates removal of the parapet coping and the handrail. SOLUTION: According to the mounting structure, erect portions for bearing the parapet coping are formed on the base anchor in a manner being spaced apart in a parapet thickness direction, and engaging projections are formed on mutually facing surfaces of the erect portions, respectively. Further, the support mounting bracket has engaging portions at locations that are spaced apart in the parapet thickness direction, for engaging with the respective engaging projections when the support mounting bracket is forcedly fitted into a space between the erect portions of the base anchor. Then, a hanging portion of the parapet coping and the erect portions of the base anchor have holes, respectively, and therefore a thrust tool such as a driver shaft is inserted therein, followed by squeezing therein the engaging portion of the support mounting bracket, to thereby cancel the engagement between the engaging portion and the engaging projection of the erect portion of the base anchor.</p> |
