<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active matrix type liquid crystal display device and a light emitting device capable of improving the productivity and the yield. SOLUTION: To solve such a disconnection problem as a pixel electrode 12 associated with deformation of an interlayer insulating film at the end parts of metal wiring, a resin film 11 is formed at the end parts of the metal wiring 13, 14. The step difference between the end parts of the metal wiring 13, 14 is relaxed by forming the resin film 11 at the end part of the metal wiring 13, 14, and the end parts of the metal wiring 13, 14 are prevented from peeling away and disconnection of the pixel electrode 12 can be prevented. Further, in the resin film 11, the surface roughness of the interlayer insulating film 10 can be smoothened, the alignment defects of liquid crystal and those of liquid crystal molecules caused by non-uniform electric field can be prevented, and minute defects of the light emitting device caused by the surface roughness of the pixel electrode 12 can be suppressed.</p> |
