摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner and an image forming method having a high cleaning performance even in the case of using small-grain toner, and also, wherein the shaving of a photoreceptor is suppressed, and also, to provide the toner and the image forming method for stably obtaining an image of high quality over a long period while suppressing selective developing due to a long endurance. SOLUTION: An image carrier used in the image forming method is an amorphous photoreceptor constituted by successively layering a photoconductive layer containing at least amorphous silicone and a surface protecting layer on a conductive substrate, and the boundary composition between the surface protecting layer and the photoconductive layer is continuously changed, and the average inclinationΔa of the image carrier is controlled to be within the extent of 0.12 to 1.0, and the magnetic toner used in the image forming method is provided with at least binding resin and a magnetic body, the weight average grain size (D4) of the toner is 5 to 10μm, and the surface existence ratio of the magnetic body obtained by image-analyzing an electron microscopic image by the extent of 5μm×5μm on the magnetic toner surface is 0.05 to 0.70.</p>
