PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To curtail adverse effect of external magnetic field in a tube axis direction opening widely for letting electron beams pass. SOLUTION: With the color selection structure 1 with holding an aperture grille 2 arranged in opposition inside a tube on a phosphor screen of a face panel of the cathode-ray tube, protruding parts 2e, 2f protruding toward the phosphor screen from top and bottom ends of a pair of frame H members 4, 5 supporting the aperture grille 2 at a top and bottom positions are fitted to the aperture grille 2.
