PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for teaching the basic body motion for a sport, performance, behavior, etc., performed by moving the body. SOLUTION: In a preferred teaching method, a sport, performance, behavior, etc., performed by a trainee to receive instructions is picked up with a video camera. An instructor gives instructions to the trainee on the spot while analyzing and comparing the video pictures displayed on a screen divided into two sections. Also, the sport, performance, behavior, etc., performed by the instructor is compared on the same screen so as to make the trainee comprehend the correct form and timing of the body motion.
