PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eject a water jet while suppressing the spreading of the jet. SOLUTION: The weft-insertion nozzle of a water-jet loom has a through-hole on a partition wall. The through-hole has a fin-containing section containing plural radial straightening fins and a fin-free section free from fins and placed at the side of the water-ejection port relative to the fin-containing section. The inner circumference of the fin-free section is formed concentric to the outer circumference of a needle part at the water-jet ejection position in the yarn guiding direction. The length of the fin-free section in the yarn guiding direction is <=1 mm.
