PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conjugate monofilament having a high strength and a high specific gravity required as properties for a fishline, and capable of being drawn without causing delamination. SOLUTION: This conjugate monofilament is composed of (A) a sheath part comprising a polyamide resin having >=2.5 relative viscosity, and (B) a core part comprising (b1) a polyamide resin, (b2) a flexible polymer having 1-300 MPa flexural modulus measured based on ASTM-790 and (b3) inorganic particles comprising inorganic metal fine particles. The conjugate ratio of the core component to the sheath component in volume is (5:95)-(60:40), and the specific gravity is >=1.5.
