PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix the potential level of a signal line of a capacitance measuring apparatus, without making the quantity of charge on the signal line change. SOLUTION: The potential fixing apparatus is connected to a two-capacitance connecting line 17, through which a first capacitance 14 is connected directly to a second capacitance 15, and the apparatus comprises an output terminal P connected to the connection line 17 and a voltage feed means 1 for feeding a voltage from the output terminal to the connection line 17, to keep constant the potential of the connecting line between the capacitances, with holding the total quantity of charges in the first and second capacitances. The voltage feed means 1 comprises a voltage-dividing means for outputting a potential divided by a first and second series-connected high resistances 3, 4 to the output terminal and a third, capacitance 8 connected in parallel to at least one of the first and second high resistances 3, 4. |
