The invention relates to the field of therapeutic chemistry and more particularly to the production of novel medicines for treating diabetes. It specifically concerns novel anti-diabetic medicines consisting of a combination of two efficient active principles for oral administration, in subliminal doses, consisting of an anti-diabetic biguanidine and an anti-diabetic sulphonamide, combined or mixed with one or several inert pharmaceutically acceptable carriers. The invention further concerns a method for producing said medicines consisting of a biguanidine and a sulphonamide.
