<p>The invention relates to a test unit for studying catalysts in reactions involving a short contact time between a catalyst and at least one reagent. The inventive unit comprises a down-flow reactor (4) with a load inlet (13, 13a, 13b) and a discharge outlet (14) which is connected to the upper chamber (39) of a separator (5) by means of an inlet (15). Said separator is divided internally into the aforementioned upper chamber (39) and a lower chamber (41) by means of porous element (40) which is permeable to gases and impermeable to solid catalyst particles. Moreover, the invention comprises a first preheater (1) which is equipped with an outlet (2, 2a) that is connected to the inlet (13, 13a, 13b) of the reactor (4) by means of a load conduit (42), such that sealing means (3, 3a) are disposed between the load inlet (13, 13a, 13b) and outlet (2, 2a). The catalyst is heated to a desired temperature in said first preheater before being loaded in the reactor (4).</p> |
