WATER TREATMENT DEVICE OF BOILING WATER REACTOR POWER PLANT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment device of boiling water reactor power plant capable of reducing hydrogen peroxide concentration in reactor primary water during periodic inspection and properly back-washing ion exchanger resin for condensate demineralizer. SOLUTION: During periodic inspection of a boiling water reactor power plant, reactor water is introduced to a hydrogen peroxide decomposition devices 8a and 8b to decompose hydrogen peroxide and then water is purified in RW filters 9a and 9b and RW demineralizer towers 10a and 10b. The purified water is stored in a condensate storage pool 12. In this manner, the ion exchanger resin in the condensate demineralizer 6 can be back-washed with water not containing hydrogen peroxide and thus, degradation of the ion exchanger resin is prevented.
