PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an optical filter from overheating by providing a rotary optical filter device with a sirocco fan which rotates integrally with an optical filter and producing a flow of air for cooling along an optical filter surface. SOLUTION: The sirocco fan 80 constituted by arranging a plurality of fan blades 82, forming a wing type section extending radially from a rotary shaft C at a distance from the rotary shaft C along the circumference of the rotary shaft C, is fitted to a support disk 72 rotatably in the same body with the optical filter 73. The flow of air is produced along the surface of the optical filter 73 through the rotating operation of the sirocco type fan 80 to cool the optical filter 73.
