PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a false-twisted yarn of a polyester having proper low delayed recovery suitable as a stretch material without causing wrinkles and grains compared to a conventional polytrimethylene terephthalate textured yarn, and further to provide a method for producing the false-twisted yarn and a woven or knitted fabric. SOLUTION: This false twisted yarn of the polyester comprises the polytrimethylene terephthalate and has <=5% delayed recovery.
