PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method for a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet the process of which is easy and simple; and an apparatus therefor. SOLUTION: In order to apply a photopolymerizable composition (a photopolymerizable composition layer 4) to the front and rear sides of a carrier 1 sent out from a carrier supply roll 2, a coating section 3 has coating rolls 15 ser up at the same positions of the front and rear sides of the carrier 1. As a result, release films 6, each coated with a photopolymerizable composition layer 4, are almost simultaneously laminated to both sides of the carrier 1, thus coating the both sides of the carrier 1 with the photopolymerizable composition layer 4. By irradiating the photopolymerizable composition layers 4 formed on the both sides of the carrier 1 with light in an irradiation chamber 5, a pressure-sensitive adhesive is obtained. Just before peeled, the release films 6 are cooled together with the carrier 1 by a cooling nozzle 20, thus enabling only the release films to be easily peelable.
