PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive film carrier which is such that a conductive film for forming an internal conductive film of a multilayer ceramic electronic component is held on a basic material and which allows the conductive film to be easily peeled from the basic material. SOLUTION: A basic material 22 is comprised of a flexible metal thin plate 24 and a conductive oxide film 25 formed of, for example, ITO, which has a thickness of 10 nm of above and not more than 500 nm and a surface roughness Ra of 30 nm or below and is formed on the metal thin plate 24. The conductive film carrier is fabricated by forming a conductive film 23 on the conductive oxide film 25 in the basic material 22.
