PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a globe with ornament that is easy to recycle, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: This is a globe with ornament that comprises a globe 1 made of a resin such as acrylic resin and an ornament 2 made of a resin. The globe 1 and the ornament 2 are made of substantially homogenous resin and, for example, both are made of acrylic resin. However, both may have different transmittance of light by having, for example, different mixing ratio of a diffusing agent. For example, the globe 1 is normally semi-permeable and the ornament 2 is non-permeable to light. Both are welded by ultrasonic welding. A protrusion 3 formed in one body is welded to the back of the ornament 2 of the globe 1. The manufacturing method of such a globe with ornament that welds the resin ornament 2 to the resin globe 1 is shown in Figure 3. When both are welded by an ultrasonic welder 4, a resin film (buffer material) that has a lower melting point than the ornament 2, for example, ethylene- vinylacetate copolymer (EVA resin), is interposed between the surface of the ornament 2 and the aluminum horn 5 of the ultrasonic welder 4. |
