<p>The durability of a belt is improved by suppressing effectively interlayer separation between a belt layer 34 and both edge portions in the width direction of the width of a belt-reinforcing layer 41. Because both edges 45 in the width direction of a single inner belt ply 35a having the largest width are located outside, in the width direction, both edges 46 in the width direction of reinforcing plies 42a, 42b having the largest width, reinforcing elements in the belt ply do not cross at the outside, with respect to the width direction, of both edges 46 in the width direction. Accordingly, both edge portions in the width direction of the inner belt ply 35a are easily shortened in the width direction, and as a result, cross-sectional shearing deformation between both edge portions of the reinforcing plies 42a, 42b is reduced.</p> |
