<p>This invention relates to a rotatable cutting tool, e.g. milling cutter, which comprises a rotatable basic body (1) and a cutting insert (2), which in addition to two opposite side surfaces (10) has front and rear end surfaces (8, 9). For axial fine-adjustment of the cutting insert, a set crew (14) is arranged that is located in an area behind the cutting insert (2) and inclined at an obtuse angle (α) to a side surface (10) of the cutting insert in order to, during the screwing of the set screw in the direction out of the appurtenant hole, press the free end of the screw against the rear end surface (9) of the cutting insert with the purpose of moving the cuttinginsert in the diretion axially forwards, whereby the screw thanks to the obliquity thereof is centrifugally secured by means of the actual cutting insert (2).</p> |
