PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dyeing method for fibers capable of dyeing a fiber to a target color in high reproducibility without using many dyeing treatments for color adjustment and reducing the amounts of a new dye and waste water of the dyeing treatment. SOLUTION: Dyeing waste liquid discharged from a fiber-dyeing process is concentrated and reused in the dyeing process by measuring the tristimulus value of the concentrated liquid, calculating the color difference of the measured tristimulus value and that of the target color in a uniform color space coordinate system using a color difference formula, determining the kind of dye to be added and its amount and repreparing the concentrated liquid according to the calculation result. The fiber dyeing method comprises the concentration of the dyeing waste liquid discharged from the fiber dyeing process, the measurement of the tristimulus value of the concentrated liquid, the calculation of the color difference of the measured tristimulus value and that of the target color in a uniform color space coordinate system using a color difference formula, the determination of the kind of dye to be added and its amount, the repreparation of the concentrated liquid according to the calculation result and the use of the reprepared liquid for the dyeing process.
