The invention relates to a milk-based alcoholic beverage and to a process for obtaining the said beverage. The milk-based alcoholic beverage carried out by the present invention, comprises: ethyl alcohol, cow milk, sugar, caramel, identical-natural flavours, sodium carboxyl methylcellulose or sodium polymannuronate, sodium hydrogen carbonate, maltol, ethyl-maltol and demineralized water. The process for obtaining the milk-based alcoholic beverage carried out by the present invention, consists in dissolving the colloids in water, dissolving sugar in water, while boiling, cooling the syrup, adding the hydrogen carbonate over the partially cooled syrup followed by further cooling the syrup, mixing the syrup with the colloidal solution, homogenizing the solution, adding the ethyl alcohol, the flavours, the caramel, the maltol and the ethyl-maltol, mixing with milk, completion with water and homogenizing up to 45...50 MPa.
