<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stroboscopic device for a camera by which photographing is continued without missing a shutter chance in an intermittent light emitting mode and in which a switching element for controlling the current of a xenon tube is protected from exothermic trouble. SOLUTION: This camera has a stroboscopic circuit 13 having at least the intermittent light emitting mode, and the stroboscopic device for the camera is constituted of a CPU 212 for controlling the stroboscopic circuit having the intermittent light emitting pattern of a stroboscopic light emitting circuit and the intermittent light emitting pattern set when the number of consecutive photographing times exceeds a specified number according to a photographing mode selectively set by a photographing mode selection means.</p> |
